Is the package compatible with the mindwave device?

Ok ok. How about theoretically speaking? The only difference with the mindset is that the connection is via wireless and not bluetoeth.

Would that make a difference for the software? I think the package is above the drivers, so there is a chance right?

I really can't say. The old device works over a serial Bluetooth connection.  If that's not how the new device connects, I'd say there's little chance it would work.  But again, i can't say for sure.

If i am going to buy the device, would you find it interesting to help me to make it work in case it does not work?

I am a programmer myself as well.

If you can make it work, I'd be happy to integrate your changes with my library.
